King University Information Technology is seeking to fill the position of Helpdesk Support Specialist.
The Information Technology Helpdesk Specialist is responsible primarily for operation of the Technology Help Desk.
Normal working hours are 8-5 M-F but occasional night weekend work is also required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in computer related hardware and software.
A high school degree is required, preferred minimum of an Associate's Degree.
High integrity, a proactive perspective customer service and problem-solving skills and organizational ability, self-starter, dependable, enjoy working with students and faculty.
This position requires a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, basic networking and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are:
o Serve as a liaison for the Technology Help Desk to the appropriate repair center o Maintain computer labs; both technologically and cosmetically, in conjunction with Facilities Services o Setting up local, network, and shared printers o Provide computer support to Students, Faculty and Staff o Maintain inventory of supplies and parts o Assist in supervising student workers Language:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
