WPDC is an outreach ministry which provides resources for Christian women physicians and dentists to integrate their personal, professional and spiritual lives.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the WPDC Commission to carry out the mission of the ministry nationwide.
This position will be based at CMDA's national headquarters in Bristol, TN.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, manage, and facilitate all facets of annual conference, virtual mini-conferences, virtual gatherings, and strategic planning meetings Participate with Commission members in conference planning process Make site visits Negotiate pricing Coordinate speakers, meals, accommodations for meetings/lodging Market/advertise conference through print and online literature Develop comprehensive itinerary Establish/manage registration process for participants and attendees Receive/manage payments from participants, to speakers, etc.
Maintain event and registration data securely Act as primary on-site contact at annual conference Manage all post-conference follow-up:
accounting, surveys, recordings, reimbursements and honorariums Draft appeal letters and solicit donations for WPDC Maintain website content and social media presence Participate in virtual meetings with Commission members Prepare/disseminate meeting minutes and other relevant information to the Commission Compile information for monthly e-newsletter Determine WPDC logo products and giveaways; price, order, manage inventory and order fulfillment MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Character compatible with the purposes, practices and values of CMDA A heart for missions Proficiency with social media Ability to compose and edit letters and other forms of written communication Skilled in Microsoft Office suite Ability to handle telephone inquiries in a professional and timely manner Understanding of basic accounting procedures and ability to enter data accurately Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Detail orientation Willingness to travel domestically for annual conference and other events Flexibility and willingness to participate in evening and weekend calls when necessary DESIRABLE
Experience:
