Job Details:

Manager of Patient Access will oversee facility's daily operational functions in all areas. Overall responsibility for daily processes related to Patient Access including, Registration-(In-patient, Outpatient, Same Day Surgeries, Recurring & Emergency), MD Pre-Cert/ Denials, Centralize Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Patient Financial Planning Services, Cash Management, Hospitality House rental as well as clearinghouse applications. Organizes & Leads inter-department efforts to maximize operational efficiency, optimize reimbursement and achieve highest level of Customer Service possible based on internal factors. The Manager of Patient Access plays a key role in hiring selection, Employee evaluations, department education, development and monitoring of Corporate Compliance policies and procedures. The Patient Access System Director works directly with the Manager of Patient Access to determine Departmental budgets and workflow efficiencies while maintaining and executing the strategic vision of the Wellmont Health System Mission, Vision and Values. Focus on achieving excellence and strives to exceed the patient experience in customer satisfaction. This position have have multi-facility responsibilities.
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of five years experience in Patient Access supervisory role
CPR is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALSEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
