Industrial Engineer

Duties and
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will focus on the design, analysis, and optimization of business production systems
Candidate must possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, analyzing and examining skills to find the best solutions to various situations.
Must find ways to minimize waste and improve performance by studying product requirements and standards.
Must be able to use complex mathematical methods and models to design manufacturing standards.
Must be able to understand, interpret, use and communicate statistical process control tools
Must possess and understand Lean Manufacturing Tools
Must be able to determine how to manufacture products or deliver services with the greatest efficiency.
Must execute quality control processes to resolve problems in production cost-effectively.
Must work with management, engineers, and customers to develop new standards for production.
Must ensure that products meet high quality standards by designing control systems for production planning.
Communicate with vendors about purchases, managers about manufacturing capabilities, clients on product specifications, and team members on project statuses.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
College Degree Required in the field of Industrial Engineering
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
